Dust

30th Anniversary of Plein-Air Workshops in Osieki, Museum in Koszalin,
20 August 1993

The performance was given during the exhibition held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the plein-air workshops in Osieki.
Two doormats and a piece of an old runner were hanging on a wall. The artist, all in white, cleaned the gallery’s floor and walls with a vacuum cleaner. Afterwards, he poured the dirt out onto a white cloth, weighed it on an analytical balance and blew it back around. On a stand where the balance was mounted you could find a black bag with a poppy which Warpechowski “sowed” when leaving the room.
